i like ur idea, its cool. the only thing i would say, is tha u should make the character look more innocent. make him look like he wouldnt be an assasin, so it would b more unnexpected, but thats just my opinion. its still cool, tho.

If it had a background I could have transmitted a bit more my idea (but I suck at doin backgrounds)

hey.

He's too skinny, so feed him some mushroom sandwiches or something.
His left leg is too skinny and needs to look more attached to the other leg. It kinda looks like mario's rubbing the goomba's head with his foot, so make the goomba look more smooshed. His head shape is a little off, but that could just be your interpretation of mario, so its just a suggestion. But on its own, its not a bad drawing!!!
